Unfortunately, we cannot directly open or manage a Trump account for your child.

Here is what to look for if downloading the app to your phone, which streamlines the setup and ongoing monitoring of your child’s account.
If your child has an account opened or you need to claim and manage it, here are the step-by-step instructions to get started safely:
Step 1: Download the Official App
Download the Trump Accounts app directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
(Note: You can also use the web-based option at TrumpAccounts.gov if you prefer not to use a mobile device)
Step 2: Verify Identity and Relationship
Open the app and follow the prompts to verify your identity (You will need Social Security, date of birth, name of birth hospital, address, and you will likely need to scan your driver’s license and take a face/selfie as part of the process)
Confirm your legal relationship to your child (parent, legal guardian, or authorized financial custodian)
Step 3: Claim the Account & $1,000 Contribution (if eligible)
Review your child’s pre-filled or linked profile.
If your child meets the pilot program requirements (born between 2025–2028, U.S. citizen, and valid SSN) complete the selection to claim the $1,000 one-time Treasury seed contribution.
You can also set up voluntary family or guardian contributions up to the annual limit of $5,000 per child (only medium and large banks are current options for electronic deposits).

The U.S. Department of the Treasury and official support lines will never ask you for your password or verification codes over the phone or via unverified links.
